This class series will focus on classes in which the student will use fingering weight yarn to complete a lace shawl project.   The studets will learn the following skills: 

 -  various cast on techniques that are specific to lace

-  knit two together

-  slip, slip knit

-  yarn over

- centered double decreases

- double decreases

-  stitch markers for keeping track of lace repeats

-  picot bind offs (or whatever bind off the pattern calls for)

-  blocking techniques
